2 Penyebab dan Solusi Insert SIM Card atau Rejected

Di layar ponsel Anda tiba-tiba muncul tulisan insert SIM card atau masukkan kartu SIM? Atau, Blackberry Anda mendadak menampilkan pesan SIM card rejected?

Jangan panik. Kondisi itu belum tentu bermakna kartu SIM Anda rusak. Hanya dalam 1-2 menit Anda mungkin dapat mengatasinya.

Insert SIM card. Bila pesan ini muncul, berarti ponsel Anda gagal mengenali kartu SIM yang terpasang. Mungkin Anda kurang tepat dalam menyelipkan kartu SIM. Matikan ponsel, lepaskan kartu SIM, lalu pasangkan lagi dengan cermat.

Seumpama notifikasi insert SIM card masih tersaji di layar, silakan menonaktifkan ponsel lagi. Lepaskan kartu SIM. Ambillah karet penghapus pensil, kemudian usapkan dengan perlahan di permukaan logam kartu SIM.

Selanjutnya, pasangkan lagi kartu SIM tersebut ke ponsel. Sampai pada tahap ini, biasanya masalah sudah teratasi. Kartu SIM berhasil dikenali oleh ponsel. Anda dapat kembali berkomunikasi seperti biasa.

Seandainya langkah di atas tetap ggal menyelesaikan masalah, tersisa dua kemungkinan saja.

Pertama, kartu SIM memang rusak sehingga perlu diganti baru di kantor layanan operator seluler.

Kedua, slot kartu SIM di ponsel Anda bermasalah.

Untuk menentukannya, pasangkan kartu SIM lain yang telah dipastikan normal. Kalau berhasil dikenali, berarti kartu SIM Anda positif rusak. Luangkan waktu mengunjungi kantor layanan operator seluler. Proses penggantian kartu SIM seharusnya dapat dituntaskan dalam beberapa menit. Antre menanti dilayani petugas yang justru lebih lama.

Sebaliknya, bila kartu SIM yang berfungsi normal di ponsel lain ternyata juga tak berhasil dibaca oleh ponsel Anda, kecurigaan patut ditimpakan ke ponsel. Slot kartu SIM di ponsel Anda tampaknya tidak berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya. Bawalah ponsel itu ke pusat perbaikan resmi.

Apple iPad Air vs Samsung Galaxy S

PIHAK Samsung mengklaim ketebalan Galaxy Tab S tak lebih dari 5 kartu kredit yang ditumpuk.

Hasil pengujiannya pun ternyata benar. Hanya Bertempat di Madison Square, New York, Amerika Serikat, Samsung baru saja meluncurkan seri tablet terbarunya, Galaxy S.

Hadir dengan dua ukuran layar, 10,5 inch dan 8,4 inch, oleh Samsung diklaim sebagai tablet tertipis. Memang sebelum Galaxy Tab S, sudah ada beberapa tablet yang mengklaim mempunyai ketipisan yang luar biasa, salah satu di antaranya adalah iPad Air. Dan kini keduanya bersaing ketat merebut tahta 'tablet tertipis di dunia'.

1.Ukuran

Samsung, vendor raksasa asal Korea Selatan itu menawarkan dua versi ukuran berbeda dari Galaxy Tab S, yakni 10,5 inch dan 8,4 inch. Bila melihat dari bentang layarnya, tentu saja Galaxy Tab S versi 10,5 inch akan bersaing langsung dengan iPad Air.

Sejak generasi pertama hingga iPad Air, Apple tidak mengubah ukuran layar dari tablet miliknya dan setia di ukuran 9,7 inch, berbeda 0,8 inch dengan Samsung Galaxy Tab S. Dengan perbedaan yang tidak terlalu signifikan, agaknya tidak ada perbedaan mencolok di antara keduanya kendati iPad Air masih lebih kecil dari sisi ukuran bila dibandingkan dengan Samsung Galaxy Tab S.

2. Siapa Lebih Tipis?

Bila berbicara soal ukuran layar Samsung Galaxy Tab S adalah juaranya, bagaimana jika dilihat dari sisi bobot dan ketebalannya? Kali ini, boleh dibilang Galaxy Tab S memang masih yang tertipis dibandingkan dengan kompetitornya. iPad hadir dengan ketebalan 7,5 mm atau 0,29 inch dengan berat mencapai 1 pound atau setara 469 gram.

Di sektor ini, Samsung Galaxy Tab S bisa dipastikan lebih unggul. Samsung Galaxy Tab S mempunyai ketebalan 6,6 mm saja, sementara bobotnya tidak mencapai setengah pound atau tepatnya 467 gram saja! Pihak Samsung mengklaim ketebalan Galaxy Tab S tak lebih dari 5 kartu kredit yang ditumpuk. Hasil pengujiannya pun ternyata benar. Hanya butuh 5 kartu untuk menyamai ketebalan tablet tersebut.

3. Siapa Lebih Tajam?

Membicarakan teknologi layar, baik Apple maupun Samsung mempunyai inovasi sendiri yang disematkan di tablet jagoannya. Bila iPad Air ada Retina Display, maka Galaxy Tab S bangga dengan Super AMOLED WQXGA. Nah, bila dilihat dari hitung-hitungan angka maka kembali dipastikan Apple harus kalah.

Namun, bukan berarti teknologi tersebut mutlak memengaruhi soal ketajaman di antara keduanya bila harus ditandingkan. Perlu pengamatan dengan mata kepala sendiri. Teknologi Retina Display, khususnya yang dibenamkan di iPad Air mempunyai resolusi 2048 x 1536 pixel dengan kerapatan 264 ppi di layar IPS-nya. Sementara Samsung Galaxy Tab S dengan Super Amoled itu mempunyai ketajaman 2.560 x 1.600 dengan kepadatan 288 ppi.

4. Fitur Kamera dan Organ Dalam

Fitur unggulan dari Samsung Galaxy Tab S adalah fingerprint scanner. Ini adalah tablet pertama Samsung yang menggunakan cara tersebut. Maksimal ada tiga sidik jari per user dan ada total 8 user yang bisa memakainya. Data fingerprint tersebut juga bisa digunakan untuk fasilitas pembayaran paypal. Apple memang sudah mempunyainya, namun itu masih terbatas di iPhone 5S.

Siapa yang mendahului dan siapa yang menyontek, pengguna juga yang menentukan. Sementara di sisi kamera, iPad hadir dengan resolusi 5 MP teknologi iSight dan bukaan f/2,4. Di bagian sekundernya, iPad Air mempunyai resolusi kamera 1,2 MP. Semuanya dijejali dengan kemampuan merekam 1080p.

Adapun Galaxy Tab S dilengkapi dengan kamera depan 8 MP plus LED flash dan kamera depan 2,1 MP full HD. Untuk video, tablet ini diperkuat dengan kemampuan recording Full HD (1920x1080) @30 fps. Pihak Samsung mengklaim, ini adalah fitur kamera terbaik saat ini di tablet PC. 5 kartu untuk menyamai ketebalan tablet tersebut.

Apple iPhone Mampu Dibobol 5 Detik

Satu lagi celah keamanan ditemukan pada lockscreen gadget iPhone bikinan Apple.

Kali ini, seorang pengguna YouTube dengan akun EverythingApplePro mengungkapkan trik yang hanya butuh waktu “lima detik” untuk menembus layar pengunci ponsel itu.

Namun, sebagaimana dikutip dari The Inquirer, ada kondisi tertentu yang harus dipenuhi untuk melakukan hal tersebut, yakni ponsel yang bersangkutan harus memiliki sebuah missed call di notification center sistem operasi iOS 7.


Apabila syarat itu terpenuhi, maka cukup dengan “membangunkan” iPhone, membuka Control Center, mengaktifkan mode pesawat, lalu membuka Notification Center dan memilih missed call yang ada, seseorang bisa “menembus” pengamanan lockscreen.

Memang, “menembus” di sini dalam artian terbatas karena yang bisa diakses hanya aplikasi yang terakhir dibuka sebelum ponsel dikunci. Namun, tetap saja celah keamanan ini berbahaya karena tetap bisa memberikan jalan ke data penting pemilik iPhone.

Bayangkan kalau yang dibuka terakhir adalah aplikasi penting yang mengandung informasi finansial macam program perbankan atau e-commerce.

EverythingApplePro mengklaim bahwa trik sederhana itu bisa dilakukan di iPhone 5S, 5C, 5, 4S dan 4 yang menjalankan sistem operasi iOS 7.1.1, 7.1.2, 7.1, atau versi sebelumnya. Dia turut menjelaskan langkah-langkah yang diperlukan dalam sebuah video singkat.

Apple belum mengeluarkan pernyataan resmi terkait kelemahan yang ditemukan EverythingApplePro.

Ini bukan kali pertama sebuah celah keamanan ditemukan pada iOS 7. Hanya dalam waktu 72 jam sejak diperkenalkan, sebuah bug berbahaya ditemukan pada fitur Control Center sistem operasi itu. Bulan lalu, ditemukan pula bahwa Siri bisa memberikan “jalan masuk” ke dalam ponsel.

BBM Jawara di Indonesia

BlackBerry Messenger atau BBM ternyata masih menjadi aplikasi pesan instan utama bagi sebagian besar pengguna smartphone di Indonesia.

Hal itu diungkap lewat temuan suervei On Device Meter edisi Februari 2014 dari lembaga riset pasar Nielsen, dalam keterangan tertulis yang diterima oleh KompasTekno.



Nielsen menyebutkan bahwa BBM dipakai oleh 79 persen pengguna smartphone Tanah Air untuk chatting. Angka tersebut merupakan yang terbesar di antara aplikasi-aplikasi lain yang sejenis.

Urutan kedua ditempati oleh WhatsApp yang dipakai oleh 57 persen pengguna, disusul oleh Line dengan catatan angka 30 persen.

Durasi pemakaian BBM juga tercatat lebih lama dibandingkan kompetitornya. Pengguna BBM rata-rata menghabiskan waktu 23,3 menit per hari untuk mengobrol lewat aplikasi itu.
