Ada 2 teknologi layar sentuh ponsel yang beredar.

1.Layar Sentuh Capasitive.
-Cocok untuk perangkat yang membutuhkan tingkat akurasi tinggi.
-Membutuhkan sentuhan kulit dalam pengoperasiannya.
-Tidak perlu ditekan keras.
-Biaya pembuatan tinggi.



2.Layar Sentuh Resistive.
-Cocok untuk perangkat yang mudah diakses dengan bantuan alat selain jari, bisa stylus, bolpen maupun tusuk gigi.
-Bisa lebih efektif untuk mereka yang bekerja dengan menggunakan sarung tangan.
-Membutuhkan tekanan dan belum memungkinkan untuk multi touch.
