Kegunaan MMC

MMC merupakan salah satu jenis memori tambahan untuk menampung file, misalnya foto, video, aplikasi, lagu-lagu mp3.
Kebanyakan memori internal Ponsel/HP sangatlah kecil sehingga tidak mencukupi untuk menyimpan file-file tersebut.

Kini memori eksternal seperti MMC, microMMC, RSMMC, SD Card, miniSD, MicroSD/Trans Flash dan memori stick Duo/Pro DUo sangat diperlukan karena ponsel-ponsel terbaru memiliki fasilitas kamera dengan resolusi tinggi, serta ada pemutar musik dan videonya.

Memori yang diperlukan untuk memutar file musik atau video membutuhkan kapasitas memori yang sangat besar untuk menyimpannya.
