Tuntuan Menkominfo Terhadap RIM

Ada tujuh tuntutan menkominfo kepada RIM.

1. RIM harus menghormati dan mematuhi peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku di Indonesia.

2. RIM diminta membuka perwakilannya di Indonesia, sebab pemakai RIM di Indonesi sudah mencapai 2 juta lebih.

3. RIM diminta membuka service center di Indonesia untuk melayani pelanggan.

4. RIM diminta merekrut dan menyerap tenaga kerja dari Indonesia.

5. RIM diminta sebanyak mungkin menggunakan konten lokal, khususnya software.

6. RIM diminta untuk memasang software blocking terhadap situs porno, seperti yang dilakukan oleh operator-operator lain di Indonesia.

7. RIM diminta membangun server/repeater di Indonesia agar aparat penegak hukum dapat melakukan penyelidikan terhadap pelaku kejahatan, termasuk koruptor.
