pendiri FBI

Pendiri utama sekaligus Direktur pertama Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) adalah J. Edgar Hoover, yang memimpin lembaga ini selama 48 tahun dari 1924 hingga 1972.

Meskipun dibentuk pada 1908 (sebagai BOI), Hoover memodernisasi lembaga tersebut, mendirikan laboratorium forensik, dan menjadikannya FBI modern pada 1935.
